Joe Castrofort was born in Puerto Rico, and grew up in Miami. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. He received his Law Degree from Nova Southeastern University. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2001 and practiced as a State Prosecutor in Orange and Osceola counties for 4 years. As a Prosecutor he was a Domestic Violence and DUI Specialist, spent time in the Juvenile Courts, Criminal Intake Division, and handled felonies ranging from drug possession, trafficking, property crimes, to violent crimes through trial.
